Chile in the Torino Winter Olympics
The Olympics are in full swing in Torino, Italy and our lovely Chile has sent its contingent of athletes to compete.
According to NBCOlympics.com:
Chile is not expected to contend for a medal in Torino.
This is kind of disheartening but looking at the results thus far, this prediction seems to be holding true. Chile’s best performance to date is a 30th place finish by Noelle Barahona in the Women’s Combined event of Alpine Skiing.
Chile has sent 11 athletes to the Torino Olympics. You can view their information and competition results at Yahoo Sports. Looks like Chile is competing in Alpine Skiing, Biathlon, and Skeleton.
Best of luck in the remaining events Chilenos!
