Questions on the Chilean Flag
After reading about the Chilean Flag, Alejandro wrote and asks:
Why weren’t the previous revisions of the flag made official? What does the star on Chile’s flag mean?
One previous revision was not made official and soon disappeared, among other reasons, because if was confused with Holland’s flag.
The star represents the powers of the State that watches over the integrity of the Country.
