2007 Chilean Holidays

Pablo writes and asks:

Hi. I need to know what days will be holidays for the 2007 calendar year.

I am doing a project for school and am making a calendar. I know some holidays that are on weekends are officially celebrated on Monday.

I have not been able to find a 2007 calendar that shows which days are Chilean holidays.

On this page you tell us what the holidays are but not the specific dates for this year.

I found an academic calendar at a university that shows the legal holidays and the dates they are celebrated:

well, i don’t know if i can help much , but the reason why the holidays are moved to monday but the religious ones is because Chilean are soo chiky that they have to move them to mondays so people won’t make sandwich, that means taking an extra day off. For example if the holiday is a Thursday we (chileans) tend to take the friday too!!!! so that cost the country millions of dollars with all the work lose. He he he , i don’t know if it helps but that;s what i know
