Questions about my thoughts on my experience in Chile

Dany wrote and asked me a few questions:

What did you not like about Chile?

Time has erased many of the things that perhaps annoyed me during my time in Chile. In their place, I have many wonderful memories of the country and it people. If I had to name one thing that drove me crazy it would be the smog in Santiago because it caused me all kinds of problems with my lungs.

What did you most like about the Chilean people?

Most people there were very nice to me. They were often very willing to help me out with the language, food, or other needs.

What did you think about Chile’s climates?

Chile has many diverse climates. Chile’s different landscapes, due to these climates, are what make Chile such a beautiful country.

Did you like Santiago Chile, both culturally as well as for tourism?

I found that the people of Santiago live a very hurried and busy life. Much more rushed than the people that live in Southern Chile or in the country around the city. I enjoyed the historical museums and places to visit across the city.

Did you go to southern Chile where it is the coldest climate on Earth?

I managed to go as far south as the Island of ChiloĆ©. Some day I’d love to visit the laguna San Rafael or even Punta Arenas.
