Why are your Pesos crossed out in red?
Martin asks me about the Chilean Peso bills I have on my site:
Why are the bills crossed in red with the word “specimen?” Are they out of circulation?
They are still in circulation. The red mark is to prevent people from printing their own money and spending it like a real peso.
