Sunrise and Sunset Times in Santiago Chile


What time does the sunset in Chile?

During my time in Chile, I saw some very beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The Andes mountains always made a great backdrop for some nice sunrises.

Sunrise

In the summer (January), the sunrises around 6:30 in the morning. In the winter months (June), the sun appears later around 7:40 in the morning.

Here is a picture of a sunrise in Southern Chile in the port city of Puerto Montt:

Sunset

In the summer (January), the sun sets about 9:00 at night. During the winter months (June), the sen sets very early at about 5:40 in the afternoon.
