New Chilean Holiday: October 31st
Starting this year (2008), Chile has established a new national holiday on October 31st. This holiday is called the “Día Nacional de las Iglesias Evangélicas y Protestantes” or the Day of the Evangelical and Protestant Churches. October 31, 1517 is when Martin Luther wrote his famous 95 Theses in protest of the sale of indulgences. [...]
